The marriage between the world of gold and Obrelli, a family of entrepreneurs from Trentino Alto Adige, dates back to 1929 when Italo took over the watch and jewelry shop in Lavis from his uncle. Since then, the family business has grown to its current state, earning an excellent reputation and recognition for the passion in its work. It has successfully combined a love for beauty with the precision of Austrian imprinting and fine Italian taste, handed down through the generations.
The historic jewelry shop has since expanded and become the go-to shop for the whole of Trentino Alto Adige. It now owns and encompasses the entire building, which was built in 1577 and has since been elegantly renovated and furnished, while also used as a showroom. The family business offices are located here and have thus far overseen the shop in the heart of the historic center of Trento, jewelry production in Valenza Po (Piedmont), wholesales, and participation in international fairs. Obrelli thus holds two precious metal dealer licenses.
About us

Cristiana
The artistic soul of the family.
Having always loved working at the shop, Cristiana has dedicated herself entirely to the family business, after briefly working as a teacher upon graduation from university. She oversees the design and restyling of jewelry as the Art Director, and is also involved in purchasing, marketing and human resources. Given her passion for furnishing, she also selects the silverware (both modern and antique), crystalware, and glassware for homes on display on the first floor of the historic Lavis shop.

Maurizio
The watch representative.
With a degree in Motor Sciences and after a brief period as a teacher, Maurizio also decided to dedicate himself to the family business. He oversees production in general, post-sales assistance, and business development. He is the manager of the watch department, but also handles logistics, security, and the IT systems. He has never lost his passion for outdoor sports, however, as he continues to practice them in his free time.

Gianfranco
company director.
After obtaining a degree in Economics and Commerce, Gianfranco embarked on his study of gems and precious stones, earning a diploma in Gemology from the Italian Gemological Institute and another from the European Federation of Gemological Schools (FEEG). He is a former member of the Administrative Board of the Italian Gemological Institute and the Board of Statutory Auditors, as well as former President of the Board of Arbitrators of the Cassa Rurale of Lavis, Mezzocorona, and Val di Cembra, which has since merged into the Cassa di Trento. As the director of the company, he is responsible for general business activities. He also handles the purchase and sale of gold bars and is the company’s point of contact for the Bank of Italy.
The managers are supported by qualified commercial and technical consultants with proven experience, who carry out their work with great passion and competence.
International Fairs
Since we produce gold bullion, we are accredited as a Private Mint (an expression not used in Italy) and therefore exhibit together with the Public Mints of 64 countries, from Canada in the East to India and Japan, China and Australia.
Although we have frequent but remote contacts with many of these private and public operators, the Fair also represents an opportunity for direct and informal B2B discussions.

Berlin, World Money Fair 2024
Once again this year, our stand was at the forefront of the World Money Fair in Berlin, the world’s most important trade fair for money, coins and investment gold.

Berlin, World Money Fair 2023: first edition
Berlin, World Money Fair 2023. International fair where 42 national mints meet private and institutional investors.
On the Obrelli Jewellery stand, we presented, in consultation with the mints and foundries of which we are authorised dealers and concessionaires, our novelties for investing in physical gold.
